The Variegated Chinese Temple Bamboo forms dense colonies and reaches 20 to 30 feet tall with culms up to 1.5 inches in diameter. Thick sprays of dense leaves are heavily striped in creamy white to creamy yellow. Coloration is best with part shade. Morning and evening sun are okay but provide some shade or filtered sun during the afternoon hours.
