The long-lasting flower spikes stand atop some of the sturdiest stems of any lavender, making them a fine selection for cutting and use in bouquets and floral arrangements. Native beneficial pollinators are attracted to the flowers, while the slightly savory taste of the foliage makes a good substitute for rosemary in culinary dishes. Hardy in USDA Zones 5a to 9a, Annet is excellent for growing in garden beds or containers that can be situated on patios and other outdoor sitting and living spaces where the pretty flowers and fragrance can be enjoyed from close up.
