Originally found in Arp, Texas, this rosemary has thick, resinous, gray-green leaves, a faint lemony scent and an open growth habit. The shrub is dense, bushy, upright and aromatic. Arp leaves are dark green and leathery, up to 2 inches in length and they sport small, edible blue flowers in whorls up to 1\/2 in long. Rosemary is widely used in cooking, especially Italian cuisine.
