Typically it grows only a few inches tall and spreads to form a ground-hugging mat, but this high-graft tree form features a straight trunk from which feathery sprays of year-round steel blue foliage will gracefully cascade downwards like a waterfall. The foliage never turns to green. You can let the foliage weep to the ground or easily keep it trimmed up to a desired height. It can also be grown in pots, planters and other containers. As with so many other ornamental plants, constantly soggy or wet soil can cause root rot and other harmful plant diseases. Best in full sun however will tolerate some light shade. We suggest at least 6 hours of direct sunlight per day. No pruning is required though it responds well to it. If left unpruned the foliage may weep all the way to the ground and begin to spread horizontally.
