A slow grower that might add 4 inches in growth per year, when fully grown, it reaches about 3 feet tall by 4 feet wide. Its more diminutive stature and soft texture make this easy-to-grow conifer a fine choice as an accent in small garden spaces, home foundation plantings, and Japanese and rock gardens in USDA Zones 4a-8b.
