That said, it responds well to pruning for height control and shaping purposes. The cascading branches are clothed in large, beautiful, jagged-edged leaves with deeply divided lobes. Like other Ginkgos, the fall color is an unrivaled, impressive yellow. Its more diminutive stature makes Boleslaw Chrobry ideal for smaller spaces or in pots, planters, and other containers situated on or near patios and other outdoor sitting and living spaces where the tree can be enjoyed from close up.
