In late spring, flat-topped clusters of tiny creamy white flowers the butterflies and beneficial pollinators will appreciate are atop the tips of stems. Clusters of pearl-like white berries the birds will enjoy follow the flowers. The stems on this upright rounded shrub are 6 to 8 feet tall and clothed with broadly elliptic medium to dark green leaves throughout the warm season that turn to attractive golden yellow shades during the fall.
