Caramel is vigorous, sturdy and long-lived, forming a large clump featuring uniquely colored, lobed, maple-like leaves that emerge a golden apricot that deepens to amber and peach as the season progresses. Tiny, light pink flowers atop thin stems rise to 18 inches above mounds.
