A weeping selection, during the fall it features abundant very cute bell-shaped flowers with cheery red petals bordered in white that surround a cylindrical cluster of soft yellow stamens. Some flowers might be solid red and the width of the white border can vary as well. Contrasting beautifully against the deep green foliage, the flower buds open during fall, and maybe into late winter depending on location. With age, the branches become pendulous making for a magnificent, weeping evergreen specimen in partially shaded landscape and woodland borders and home foundation plantings.
