As with other Ajugas, Cordial Canary is a vigorous grower forming a glowing patch that lights up shady to partially shaded areas of the garden. What's more, spikes loaded with cobalt-blue flowers rise above and are a striking contrast to the screaming yellow foliage. This one grows to about 5 inches tall and spreads relatively quickly to 24 or more inches wide and prefers a break from the hot afternoon sun. Morning and evening sun and even deep shade is fine.
