From late spring to early summer, her soft-textured, mint blue-green foliage is nearly smothered in fuzzy-looking clusters of pink flowers. The flowers age to soft pink and almost white, with all colors showing on the plant simultaneously. If the spent flowers are sheared, you can expect a rebloom. Daphne Spirea is an adorable accent in smaller garden beds or groupings, or as a low hedge where space allows. She is exceptionally drought tolerant when established and cold hardy to -30°F, and likes six or more hours of direct sunlight per day.
