It can reach 50 to 60 feet tall but with only a 15 to 20-foot width, making it a good fit for smaller landscape spaces where height is desired. The tree is clothed in soft-textured, delicate-looking ferny foliage on pendulous stem tips, and puts on a fantastic color show in fall when the leaves turn to shades of orange and red. Like with other Pond Cypresses, Debonair can be grown in average, moist, well-drained soils, but also thrives in wet soils and even standing water. It is very heat-tolerant, disease-free, and insect-resistant.
