Desert Bloom Hen and Chicks features a rosette (the hen) of fleshy and pointed grey-green leaves flushed in pink surrounded by little \"chicks\" that eventually become hens to form a colony, or should we say \"flock.\" Mature leaves turn deeper shades of pink and purple. Pink flowers atop short stems appear in summer.
