The hummingbirds and butterflies will appreciate the flowers. We suggest at 6 hours or more of direct sunlight per day for the deepest foliage color throughout the growing season. It is also distinct from other upright varieties in that it forms a more columnar-oval shape that might reach 15 to 20 feet tall and 6 to 10 feet wide when all grown up. This makes it a fine fit as an enchanting focal point specimen for smaller garden spaces, as an accent or to frame corners in home foundation plantings, or in spaced groupings where space allows.
