'Midnight Sky' features abundant, large and voluptuous globe-shaped clusters of some of the darkest violet-blue flowers. Excellent for cutting and dispaly in a vase or floral arrangement, the flower clusters rise 24 to 36 inches above a fast growing handsome clump of glossy green strap-like leaves to 12 to 18 inches tall and 18 to 24 inches wide. Whether growing in garden beds or containers, Midnight Sky is excellent for adding a Mediterranean look and feel to any landscape space. You might be happy to know this one has cold hardiness to 5F and is drought tolerant when established. Just give it plenty of sun and a well-drained soil and it'll do the rest.
