Its smaller stature to maybe 5 to 6 feet tall, including the trunk, and maybe 3 to 4 feet wide when all grown up make it a perfect choice as a unique and colorful accent tree in smaller garden spaces and containers that can be situated on or around patios, decks and other outdoor sitting and living spaces. The more sun it gets the more yellow the leaves. In shade the foliage will be more chartreuse, but still very pretty. Constantly soggy soil or standing water is problematic. Avoid overwatering. Provide only enough water to keep the soil damp to moist. Established plants are quite drought tolerant and will only require an occasional watering during prolonged periods of drought. Maintenance is minimal.
