In spring, bright yellow vertical foliage candles emerge transitioning as the needles elongate to green with soft golden yellow higlights on the top half of the needle and silver undertones. The foliage color intensifies during winter so that from a distance the entire tree appears glowing golden yellow. Upon closer inspection the two-toned green and yellow varietgation is revealed. For optimum color, seek a balance between sun and shade.
