The foliage is more dense as well, and the leaves distinctively curl inward at the edges of the lobes. We're not sure why they curl as they do, but it sure does look cool! The leaves emerge chartreuse to lime green shades in spring, transitioning to a darker, rich green in summer and then to shades of yellow to vibrant orange with the arrival of cooler temperatures in fall.
