In late winter through early spring it produces an abundance of fragrant, eye-catching double flowers with white or soft pink petals randomly streaked in red or solid red or half red and half white flowers. As the plant ages it tends to produce many variations on the same plant. The striking flowers are set against a perfect backdrop of glossy, deep green foliage.
