In late winter or very early spring, abundant flower clusters appear and continue over a long period through spring and then sporadically thereafter through fall and into winter. It's handsome blue-green round to elliptical leaves encircle the stems and are highly mildew resistant provided the vine gets the morning sun to dry dew from the leaves. The more sun this one get the heavier and longer the bloom.
