Meet 'Little Prince', unlike it's monster cousins that can top out at up to 20 feet, all grown up this hardy little guy might reach a maximum of  3 feet in height. A true garden royalty, and also year round houseplant, it rapidly develops an 8 to 10 inch thick trunk crowned with a canopy of very large green leaves flecked with red. This plant is a perfect addition to container gardens or for mixing into flower beds for an upright accent. It's interesting to note that the smaller the container you plant it in the smaller the plant stays. In USDA Zone 7, to provide some extra protection during winter we suggest the application of a 4 inch layer of shredded wood mulch or straw mulch around the plant.
