It forms a dense mound of attractive, glossy, heart-shaped, dark green leaves with wavy edges. From early spring through early summer, cute and abundant 1\" cup-shaped, buttercup-like flowers with six waxy, bright yellow sepals (petals) surrounding a cluster of bright golden-yellow stamens sit just above the foliage.
