When grown in full to mostly sun, it has a tight missile-shaped habit, ultimately reaching 6 to 8 feet in height but only 2 feet in width in ten years. Plants have vibrant coral-orange new foliage that matures to mid-green by mid-summer and then back to a deep, vibrant orange-red in fall.
