Some shade is tolerated however flowering will be diminished in too much shade. We suggest at least 5 hours of direct sunlight for best flowering and overall performance. Plant with the top of the root ball even with ground level. Care and maintenance are minimal. Spent flowers can be deadheaded to encourage new rounds of flowers from spring to frost.
