The flower stems are very strong and won't flop, even in rain, and there are multiple flowers per stem. Butterflies love the flowers, birds love the seeds, and the flowers are great for cutting and use in flower arrangements. Very easy to grow and low-maintenance, as with other versions of our North American native coneflowers Pretty Parasols is an easy-to-grow and low maintenance hardy perennial. It is drought tolerant when established, wind resistant, cold hardy to -20F, heat resistant to Zone 9b, and deer tend to turn their nose up to.
