The color show begins in spring when new leaves burst forth in a blaze of red over a gracefully arching but dense mound of evergreen foliage. Short clusters of white, urn-shaped flowers similar in appearance to those of Pieris form at the ends of gently arching branches. During summer the foliage becomes a handsome rich green. With the arrival of cooler temperatures in fall the leaves turn to a deep wine-red, holding through winter. Rejoyce adds elegance to any partially shaded to shady setting, whether it be a container, garden bed or woodland border, where it combines beautifully with perennial ferns, hosta lilies, woodland grasses and many other natural-looking shade-loving plants and trees.
