As with its cousin, the Ruby Stella is an early bloomer starting in late spring or early summer and reblooming to the first frost in fall. This means hundreds of lightly fragrant, vibrant ruby-red trumpet flowers with golden yellow eyes produced in a single growing season. At 18 inches tall in bloom and equally as wide, Ruby Stella is stunning in groupings and mass plantings but also a colorful accent in small garden spaces and pots. Daylilies don't require deadheading but the removal of spent flower scapes (stems) encourage heavier rebloom.
