This one grows well in sun or part shade and from consistently moist to somewhat dry conditions. The exotic looking and fragrant dark burgundy red flowers are perched atop sturdy stems that rise above the foliage in spring. Excellent for growing in consistently moist garden beds or container gardens and is hardy further north than other cultivars.
