When the snow melted in spring the evergreen shrubs burst into a mass of color. As a Rustican, Shiro Karako doesn't disappoint. In late winter through early spring, Shiro Karako produces a profusion of anemone form flowers with a row of 6 white outer petals surrounding a mound of white ruffled petaloids with a yellow glow at the center. The flowers stand out magnificently against the dark green leaves.
