The thin but sturdy flower stalks and silvery seedheads with a purple cast quiver in the slightest breeze to provide movement in the garden. The cascading mound of handsome blue-green foliage and the flower stems turn to a rich golden-yellow in fall. Very easy to grow in full sun and moist to wet rich or poor soils, Skyracer is excellent as a vertical accent in smaller garden spaces or in stunning groupings or rows where space allows. It is right at home in the moist soils around streams, ponds and other bodies of water or anywhere the soil tends to stay moist to wet.
