Upon opening the shipping box, on the tips of the newest growth, there was evidence of storage in a hot distribution center. The rest of the plant looked healthy enough so into the ground it went, following the included planting instructions for eucalyptus. Within a few days, the damaged tips turned black but there were signs of new growth lower down. After four warm rainy days, the new growth buds turned to leaves. Eucalyptus is a tough plant and it looks like it will be doing well.
