Growing naturally in a rounded conical form to maybe 4 feet tall and 3 feet wide at maturity, it is excellent for use as an accent, in groupings or as a hedge in the landscape and home foundation plantings, and also a fine specimen for containers.  That said, it responds very well to pruning for clipped formal hedges and various topiary shapes where it can be kept at half its normal size.
