It features highly ornamental, bright silver-blue foliage, making it a captivating gem in the landscape. Neither we nor anyone we know has had long-term experience with this cultivar, which makes it difficult to describe its habit, form, and size at maturity. We know it's a slow grower that adds an average of 4 to 6 inches to its size every year, forming a rounded pyramid 4 to 5 feet in height and 3 feet wide after 10 years. Therefore, we think it might become more upright and pyramidal with age, reaching 8 to 10 feet tall and 4 to 6 feet wide at its base in 20 years. Once established, it will tolerate short dry periods but might appreciate supplemental water to maintain moist soil during extended summer droughts.  In pots, soil moisture must be monitored more closely, especially during summer.
