As the season progresses the leaves transition to more cream and green with some soft pink. Any new growth that emerges during summer is pink. Cooler temperatures in fall bring on hot red pink. A slow growing tree ideal for small garden spaces and containers. Due to the color of its leaves, Taylor Pink does not like direct afternoon sunlight, which will surely scorch them. Give it morning and\/or evening sun or filtered sun or all-day dappled shade. As with all other Japanese maples, it does not like wet feet.
