The flowers start coming in late spring and rebloom through early fall. It is a superb plant for small garden beds or containers, where it can be grown on a short obelisk or trellis or as a spreader, filler, or spiller plant. In February or March, cut each stem to a height of 6 inches to 1 foot. Always leave two good buds below where you make your cut.
