Its vines are clothed in lovely, palmate green leaves up to 6 inches long that are splashed in creamy white. With the arrival of cooler temperatures in fall, the foliage takes on shades of red, pink, white, and green all at once! Highly adaptable and very easy to grow almost anywhere (USDA Zones 3b-11), it will grow in full sun or full shade and most any type of acid or alkaline soil, handles occasional drought and wet conditions, is extremely cold and heat tolerant, and deer turn their nose up to it.
