The contrast between the juvenile foliage and elegant sprays of mature leaves is extremely appealing providing a soft texture in the garden. It has a more natural looking growth habit when left unpruned however responds well to pruning for a more dense form that makes it perfect for use as a distinct outdoor Christmas tree. No pruning is required though responds well to it for shaping purposes.
