In flushes from spring to frost, abundant, fat and rounded buds open to full, cabbage-shaped flowers that are rich creamy white with glowing apricot-pink centers upon opening turning ivory white as they age. The blooms exude a deliciously warm fruity fragrance with a definite hint of citrus, which is enchantingly divine! The first bloom flush is a sight to see nearly covering the entire bush with very good rebloom afterwards. The blooms aren't as long-lasting as some other varieties in a vase, however if you cut right before or when the buds begin to open they'll last several days or more. Very healthy, Windermere forms a neat, dense shrub to 4 feet tall and 3 to 4 feet wide, making it a good fit for smaller garden spaces or in containers.
