Growing 3 to 4 feet tall and wide (depending on pruning), its smaller size fits nicely as an accent or specimen in smaller landscape spaces and also does quite well in medium to large size pots, provided the drainage is good. It is perfect for use as a foundation plant in shady home foundation plantings. In larger landscape borders we use it in small to large groupings or mass plantings on embankments, as a natural or formal hedge, or under large shade trees.
