The blooms are followed by cylindrical clusters of rose-pink colored fruits resembling those of coralberry bushes. The tree is clothed in dark green, elliptical leaves that can reach up to 8 inches in length, arranged in bunches that lend a tropical look and feel to the landscape. Cool temperatures in fall bring rich, golden-brown shades.
