'Bath's Pink' is one of if not the best Dianthus we've ever grown in our gardens. Not only has she proven to be exceptionally heat, humidity and more drought tolerant than other varieties, she's one of the most floriferous. Her attractive 6 inch high mounds of evergreen, blue-green foliage becomes literally smothered in spicy, clove-scented, soft pink flowers during late spring to early early summer. The petals of her star-shaped flowers are beautifully fringed surrounding a white eye-zone outlined in in red. Was named after Jane Bath of Stone Mountain, GA who discovered it.

Growing in a dense mound 6 to 8 inches tall and about a 30 inches wide, Bath's Pink Dianthus is ideal for use as an accent in smaller garden spaces or as a border along paths and walkways or surrounding patios or garden beds.  A fine addition to fragrance gardens, cottage gardens, butterfly gardens, sunny perennial gardens and pink theme gardens.
