An easy-to-grow and eye-catching North American native perennial plant, Bee You Bee Happy Bee Balm features abundant blooms with a dark dome surrounded by intense cerise red, tubular flowers filled with nectar that the hummingbirds, butterflies, and beneficial pollinators will thank you for. The flowers are perched atop sturdy stems to 18 inches tall, clothed in dark green, mint-scented foliage throughout the summer, and are excellent for cutting and use in fresh or dried flower arrangements. The foliage is often used to flavor teas. The plant forms a spreading clump to 24 feet wide. Bee Balm is not finicky about soil type but likes a consistently moist, well-drained soil with at least 4 hours of sun daily.
