Description
This is the 3-ball poodle tier topiary form of the Blue Point Juniper, an evergreen conifer with rich blue-green, feathery foliage that provides a unique texture, color, and form in the landscape. It is excellent for growing in the ground or pots as a focal point specimen, or use two to frame entryways.
Landscape & Garden Uses
The Blue Point Juniper 3-Ball Poodle Tier Topiary is ideal as a focal point specimen or use two to frame an entrance. It is a fine addition to topiary gardens, formal gardens, blue theme gardens, conifer gardens, Asian theme gardens, and rock gardens.
Growing Preferences
The Blue Point Juniper Poodle Tier is easy to grow in moist, well-drained to dry soil when established, and full to mostly sun. Constantly soggy or wet soil is problematic. To maintain its poodle tier form, trim in spring and again in late summer if necessary. Feed plants growing in the ground in late winter or early spring with a slow-release ornamental plant fertilizer such as Ferti-Lome Tree & Shrub Food. Feed plants growing in containers with a slow-release granular or liquid plant food listed for use on ornamental shrubs or trees growing in pots.
