Description
Sure to be a conversation piece in your gardens, the Conversation Piece Azalea produces LOADS of various color flowers on the same plant! Some flowers will be dark pink, some nearly white, while others are splashed and variegated with dark pink and white with darker pink center blotches. The wonderfully unique 3.5" ruffled blooms smother the handsome dark green evergreen foliage in late spring and rebloom again in fall. For those who love Azaleas and plants with amazing color, Conversation Piece is a must have plant!
Please Note: Sometimes young Conversation Piece Azaleas will produce only one color of flower. As the plant matures it will begin to produce variations.
Landscape & Garden Uses
Growing in a rounded mound 3 to 4 feet tall and 4 feet wide or a little more at maturity, Conversation Piece Azalea is ideal for use as a specimen, in groupings, or as a natural hedge in landscape and woodland borders and home foundation plantings. Grows well in medium size containers 14 inches or more in diameter. A fine addition to Azalea gardens, cottage gardens, and partially shaded woodland gardens.
Spacing: 3 feet apart for solid hedges; 7 feet or more apart for space between plants
Note: For our customers who live and garden north of USDA Plant Hardiness Zone 6a, where this Azalea variety is not reliably winter hardy outdoors, you can enjoy it in containers that can be moved indoors during winter and placed back outside when temperatures warm up in spring.

Growing Preferences
Evergreen Azaleas are easy to grow when planted right and in the right spot. They prefer a moist but well-drained and acidic soil that is rich in organic matter and part sun. Morning sun with afternoon shade or filtered sun is ideal. Though plants will tolerate periodic wet conditions, constantly soggy or wet soil is problematic. Moderate drought tolerance when established.
