A rock garden classic, Creeping Alpine Cinquefoil is a delightful little plant perfect for growing between stepping stones or as a groundcover around shrubs and small trees in garden beds. Its spicy-scented, shiny, palm-like deep green leaves for a dense low carpet that becomes covered in brilliant yellow buttercup-like flowers. Exceptionally easy to grow and smothers the ground to choke out weeds. 


Landscape & Garden Uses

Growing to maybe 3 inches tall and spreading12 inches or more, Dwarf Creeping Cinquefoil is ideal for use between flagstones in paths or as an attractive groundcover around shrubs, perennials and small small trees. Also nice as a soil cover and colorful and textural accent in mixed container gardens. A fine addition to yellow theme gardens, cottage gardens, and sensory or fragrance gardens.

Suggested Spacing:  12 inches apart for mass plantings
