A wonderful selection of the North America native Redbud tree, 'Golden Falls' is a lovely weeping selection with branches that cascade beautifully to the ground like a waterfall. In late winter to early spring, the branches become covered in clusters of rosy-pink sweet pea-like flowers that are immediately followed by the emergence of heart-shaped, yellow leaves tinged in orange that turn to lime green as they age. You can expect Golden Falls to reach 8 to 10 feet tall and only 3 to 4 feet wide when all grown up, making this brilliant beauty an ideal choice for smaller garden spaces and home foundation plantings. Also very nice in large pots for situating on patios, decks and around other outdoor living spaces.
Landscape & Garden Uses
Growing 8 to 10 feet tall and only 3 to 4 feet wide, the Golden Falls Redbud tree is ideal for use as a focal specimen in sunny to partially shaded landscape or woodland settings and home foundation plantings. It's upright columnar form also makes for a fine selection to frame an entryway. A fine addition to yellow theme gardens and native plant gardens.

Growing Preferences
The Golden Falls Redbud tree is very easy to grow in most any average, moist but well-drained soil and full or part sun. It is very drought tolerant when established. Standing water or constantly soggy or wet soils can be problematic, so make sure to plant in a site with well draining soil.
