Don't let the name of this native Smooth Hydrangea fool you. While Invincibelle Mini Mauvette is smaller in stature than the species, maybe 3 feet tall and equally as wide at maturity, the large flower clusters are more typical in size to those of the species. The flower show begins in early summer when large rounded clusters of pinkish purple-mauve flowers rise above the foliage mound held on strong and sturdy stems that don't flop, which makes them great for fresh or dried cut flowers. A rebloomer, the flower clusters continue coming through the rest of the summer and to the first frost in fall. A long blooming and easy-to-grow North American native for USDA Zones 4-9, Mini Mauvette is a beautiful accent specimen in small garden spaces and containers or grouped or in hedges where space allows.

Growing in a rounded mound 3 feet tall and equally as wide, the Invincibelle Mini Mauvette Hydrangea is ideal for use as a specimen in smaller garden spaces or in groupings or as a colorful hedge in landscape and woodland borders and home foundation plantings. A fine addition to Hydrangea gardens, cutting gardens, purple or pink theme gardens and cottage gardens.
