It has exceptionally large flowers for a Coreopsis, measuring 2.5 inches in diameter or wider, and incredible flower power with a long bloom from mid-spring through summer and well into fall....something not only you but the butterflies and other beneficial pollinators will certainly appreciate. The daisy-type bicolor flowers have overlapping yellow petals with a deep crimson-red burst at the center surrounding a value of golden-yellow stamens. Excellent for cutting and use in floral arrangements, the abundant flowers are held on thin stems that rise above a broad yet compact mound of attractive, medium-green foliage that stays nice all season. If you're looking for a perennial flower that will come back year after year in your garden and blooms as much if not more than many annual bedding plants, Super Start Coreopsis is sure to please. Excellent in garden beds or containers.

Super Star Coreopsis is very easy to grow in most any moist but well-drained soil of average fertility and full to mostly sun. We suggest 6 hours or more of direct sunlight per day and morning sun is a must to dry dew from the leaves. Constantly soggy or wet soils are problematic. Heavy, dense clay soils should be amended with bagged top soil or other organic matter to improve drainage.
