Description
Lucky Sunrise Rose Lantana is a dwarf selection that grows 12 to 16 inches tall and wide, making it a perfect choice for small spaces and containers or as a low border. It is hardy for growing outdoors year-round in Zones 9a-11, and is considered an annual north of Zone 9. That said, it can be grown in containers in cold winter climates that can be brought indoors when temperatures are forecast to drop below 40F. It may be small, but what it lacks in size, it makes up for in flower power. The compact, mounding plants are covered in tricolor flower clusters in vibrant shades of pink, orange, and yellow. The flowers continue coming in abundance from late spring through fall to draw in the butterflies and hummingbirds who will thank you for planting this lantana. Lantana thrives in heat and humidity and is exceptionally drought-tolerant when established.
Landscape & Garden Uses
Growing in a low mound 12 to 16 inches tall and wide, Lucky Sunrise Rose Lantana is ideal for planting in smaller garden spaces, as a low border in landscape beds, in annual flower garden beds, and as a solo or mixed with other sun-loving plants in combination container gardens. North of USDA Zone 9a, where it isn't winter hardy, container-grown plants can be brought indoors when temperatures are forecast to drop below 40F.
Suggested Spacing: 10 inches apart for mass plantings; 30 inches apart for space between plants

Growing Preferences
Lantana is exceptionally easy to grow in moist, well-drained soil with average to low fertility and full to mostly sun. We suggest at least 6 hours of direct sunlight for the best flowering. It is extremely heat and drought-tolerant when established. When growing in a container, use a container with a drainage hole(s) at the bottom and a quality potting soil or potting mix, or a 50/50 mix. Maintenance is minimal. You can deadhead or shear the plant after the first flush of flowers, and that's about it until you cut it back the following spring.
