Landscape & Garden Uses

Growing to only 2 feet tall and wide in a global form, the Tiny Tim Arborvitae is great for use as a specimen, in groupings or as a low hedge and perfect is perfect for use as a solo or combined with other plants in pots, planters and other containers. A fine addition to conifer gardens, rock gardens and formal gardens.

Suggested Spacing:  18 inches apart for solid hedges; 3 feet or more for space between plants

Grwoing Preferences

Arborvitae are very easy to grow and care for. They are adaptable to many soil types including well-draining red clay and like full sun to part shade. They prefer a moist but well-drained soil. They don't like an overly dry site. As with so many other ornamental plants, constantly soggy or wet soil can be problematic. Maintenance is minimal with very little if any pruning ever required.
